Who reaps the grain and plows the sod
Must feel a kinship with his God;
For there’s so much on earth to see
That marks the hand of Deity.
When blossom springs from tiny shoot,
When orchard yields its luscious fruit,
When sap is running from great trees,
On all occasions such as these,
The man who breathes fresh country air
Must know full well that God is there.
